Scott Parady
Founder, Director, Resident Manager, Workshop Leader
Scott Parady is the founder and Director of Cobb Mountain Art and Ecology Project. He has worked as a ceramic artist for the last thirty years and has been teaching at California State University, Sacramento since 2003.
In 2014 Scott began the dream of building the Cobb Mountain Art and Ecology Project on the 80-acre property his family had resided on since 2003.
Scott’s dream for the Cobb Mountain Art and Ecology Project is to combine the opportunities of a ceramic-centered residency with a lived experience of becoming a better steward of the land through sustainable living practices and forest management skills.
Scott lives on-site with his family and works along with the resident artists in the studio, creating a small but close community of working artists.
