Online Exhibition: The Reciprocity Project '23-24' - Cup Benefit
The Reciprocity Project is a pair of online exhibitions that bookend our residents’ time here. The project’s aim is to foster mutual support and reciprocity between our new residents and Cobb. The first exhibition asks residents to donate their time and work for the benefit of the program they have arrived for. The second exhibition, taking place during the last month of each resident’s term is Cobb’s opportunity to invest back in them.
The Cup Exhibition takes place shortly after their arrival and also acts as an online teaser to our in-person Fall Open House. This online cup exhibition is a platform to introduce our new cohort to our digital audience as well as an opportunity for them to invest in Cobb. All proceeds from this first online exhibition will go directly to benefit the Cobb Moutain Art and Ecology Resident Program.
The second online exhibition is an end-of-residency capstone and will feature selected works from each resident at the end of their term here. This is their chance to show how they have grown during their time here and to make a little capital for their future adventures. All proceeds from the end-of-term exhibition will stay with the artists.
